Fundraising Committee – Will attend (3) fundraising workshops which will be paid for by NOVA. Major role is to identify, cultivate, solicit and maintain ongoing contact with major private donors. Responsibilities include: defining how many fundraisers will occur in one year, along with identifying the specific type of fundraiser to be performed. They will also recruit the volunteers needed and coordinate all the efforts for each event.

Communications Committee – Responsibilities include: Public-relations, the Website, Mailings, Newsletters, Speaking Engagements, Branding, Advertising & Press Releases.

Finance Committee – Responsibilities include managing NOVA’s Accounting practices and obligations, Creating Budgets for potential investors, Negotiating and securing adequate Insurance, and Planning and Budgeting of NOVA’s expenses.

Partnership Committee – Responsibilities include seeking out and negotiating Partnership Agreements with other organizations that complement NOVA’s Mission.

Medical Mission Committee – Responsibilities include recruiting and acting as a liaison between Parishes, Synagogues, or any other organizations for the purposes of sending Missionaries to Haiti and utilizing our facilities

Volunteers Committee – Responsibilities include recruiting and maintaining an active list of volunteers that will be available to help NOVA’s efforts in fundraising and/or our other support functions.

Legal & Compliance Committee – Responsibilities include handling all NOVA’s legal matters, reviewing contracts and binding agreements, updating our Bylaws and Commitments Contract, as well as assuring Compliance of all agreements.

Construction & Grounds Committee – Responsibilities include all activities needed for architectural planning, facilities construction, and grounds maintenance in Haiti.
- Grant-writing Committee – Responsibilities include attending training sessions on grant-writing (paid for by NOVA), and to provide a resolution for NOVA regarding how to best respond to grant opportunities and then implement that resolution.
